Did I say that out loud?

Thoughts and musings of a mom

My Daughter’s Day

on January 5, 2014

It was a crazy day, not unlike others.

Struggle. Conflict.

But when she surrendered, peace entered.

Night.

Rest. Contentment.

Letting go, ready to give in.

Sleep.

Quiet.

But yet…

A stirring, a short wakefulness.

Longing to be by her mother, the one against whom she battled that day.

Her comfort.

Leaning into her presence.

Peace.

Slumber.

Renewed.

Daylight.

A new beginning for mother and daughter.
